Every four to six weeks Dr Roger Bastow offers dental treatment under Intravenous or Conscious Sedation in our rooms.
Conscious sedation is a very safe, very efficient and very effective way of providing anxiety relief and pain control during dental procedures. Conscious sedation is not an anaesthetic ie. does not put you to sleep. The aim of conscious sedation is to reach a state where:
  - you are relaxed and comfortable during treatment, and will
    remember very little of any discomfort or the treatment itself.
  - Time seems to pass quickly and before you know it the procedure is
    completed and it is time to go home!
